Put simply, we love Drupal! We have been using it for small sites, big sites, this site and for most of our clients, it is the perfect base on which to build their web solution.
What is Drupal and what can it do for me?
Drupal is a content management system and it can revolutionise the way you control your website.
A content management system, or CMS, is computer software used to create, edit, manage, and publish content - in this case for your website.
How easy is it to use? Drupal provides the site owner with an administrator login to their site. Once logged in, the user can then browse their site as an administrator and edit page content on the fly. Each page simply has an "edit" button which, once pressed, allows rich-text editing of all content within the site. It's as easy as making a word document.
What's more is that Drupal is open source. There are many advantages to having an open source CMS over a bespoke one. Firstly, you will never suffer vendor lock-in. This is where you must keep returning to the same provider of bespoke or proprietary software for maintenance or improvement because no other developers can use their systems. Drupal has literally thousands of developers working on the project.
Also, because there are thousands of developers working on the Drupal project, it's faster, better, more feature-rich and more reliable than bespoke CMSs.
